The kick stand, when not ingaged, is very light weight and never gets in the way. It is extremely easy to install and lasts under very tough use.

People ask me do our kickstands hold up under heavy use. We have been selling to Segway Dealers, Tour Groups, and Segway Rental Companies; I've gotten nothing but positive feedback about the reliability of our kickstand everytime they reorder.

When the days were old, nights were bold, and segways weren't invented, I'd lay may segway on the side of the road and hope it didnt get dented!!! Not no more thanks to DSI for the quality kickstands. Theses are much better than the kickstands that Adam fabricated. We use our segways a lot and put them to the test. DSI kickstands have stood through time and held up very well. Thanks! Jaime Hyneman - MythBusters
